Paul Potter is a physical therapist who has been in private practice for over 30 years. His practice specializes in manual orthopedic rehabilitation and medical fitness programs for special populations. I spoke to Paul when he was in the process of selling his practice in order to go on a different adventure in his life: helping other PT’s start and run their own therapy practice.

StandSteady is a program designed to help older adults recover or enhance their ability to perform daily activities and live healthier lives even as they age. The structured therapy program includes strength, flexibility, mobility and balance training.
The StandSteady program includes 4 components

Free Balance Screening- One 20 minute balance screening and consultation

Initial Balance Training- two 30 minutes sessions per week for 5 weeks; Home Exercise Program; Home Safety Evaluation

Advanced Balance Training- two 30 minute sessions per week for 5 weeks: Home Exercise Program

Medical Fitness Membership- Quarterly fitness membership for eligible patients who have completed the Advanced Training program

Paul Potter has owned and managed his private practice clinic for over 30 years specializing in orthopedics, manual therapy, and medical fitness assessment and programing. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center physical therapy program and earned both bachelors in exercise science and masters in Family Wellness from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and University of Nebraska at Lincoln respectively.
